Lettering as drawing - Shadow
Lettering as drawing - Shadow

To explore the visual potential of words I love reading poems. Octavio Paz says "when I am writing a poem, it is to make something, an object or organism that will be whole and living, something that will have a life independent of me". A good way to write this living organism is to think you are in a life drawing session...

Hi Monica,

Congratulations on your revised site! Wish I could get to the Newberry to see your exhibition.

I like very much the link called "ideas"--will look forward to seeing-reading more of that.

All best wishes,
Jane
